Mrs. Wilberg has been part of the Wiseburn community for many years, joining Cabrillo after both teaching and serving as assistant principal at Dana Middle School.  Mrs. Wilberg originally hails from the town of Munster, Indiana, which is a suburb of Chicago.  After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, Mrs. Wilberg decided she wanted to spend her career in education.  She then spent two years in a service-oriented teaching and Masters Degree program through Valparaiso University, teaching full-time at an under-resourced school in Chicago.  Following this, Mrs. Wilberg moved to California and spent several years teaching in LAUSD prior to finding Wiseburn.  Mrs. Wilberg loves Wiseburn because of the small, close-knit community and the passionate, dedicated educators who work here.  Plus, she is pretty sure we have the best students in the world!  Aside from her work at Cabrillo, Mrs. Wilberg is a wife and mom.  On the weekends she loves gardening, reading, and engaging in animated games of Go Fish and Connect Four.

Assistant Principal
Hi Cabrillo families! I am so excited to begin my new role as assistant principal. I have been teaching in the Wiseburn Unified School District for 15 years and they have been some of the most rewarding in my life. Now, I am so happy to have the opportunity to enhance the education and learning experience for our students through this new position. I will be splitting my time with Cabrillo and Burnett so you will see me on the Cabrillo campus on alternating Wednesdays, Thursdays, and
Fridays. I will be supporting the student services team, teaching character education, providing behavior support and working to keep Cabrillo a safe place. Please reach out with any concerns or questions and I am looking forward to an amazing year.
